Last week, Jigsaw colleagues joined forces with Tameside councillor John Taylor for another ‘Giving Something Back’ clean-up day across Dukinfield Central.
The event was organised by Jigsaw’s Neighbourhood Engagement Officer John McGlynn and was attended by eight colleagues, including Paul Chisnell, Group Director of Finance alongside the organisation’s Connect, Development, Neighbourhood and Finance teams.
Colleagues managed to collect 25 bags of litter over two hours and made a real difference to the surrounding streets of Dukinfield.
Paul Chisnell said: “I really enjoyed today, volunteering with everyone involved to make the Central neighbourhood as litter free as possible. The Give Something Back Day was well organised and well-done John, Carolyn and everyone who contributed to making the area cleaner. It was great to see and be a part of…plus it did not rain!”
Councillor John Taylor said: “ I would like to say a big thank you to Jigsaw for arranging the clean-up day. It was great to be with the team, helping to improve areas in Dukinfield and I’m looking forward to more days like this in the future.”
