You Said We Did: Assistance and Vulnerabilities Survey

A total of 181 Jigsaw Rewards members took part in this consultation and shared whether they consider themselves to have a vulnerability and how this might affect them when accessing Jigsaw’s services.

You said: 41% of people who took part in the survey said someone in their household had a vulnerability.

We did: Created a service adjustment policy, built on the principles of ask, listen and don’t assume while taking into account someone’s individuality. We recognise that people know their own vulnerabilities and needs best, and that reasonable adjustments need to be tailored to the individual.

You said: 95% of people who said there was someone in their household with a vulnerability would be happy if Jigsaw asked them about it.

We did: Created online training for all staff on our approach to service adjustments, including how to have a sensitive and appropriate conversation with someone about their needs. This training will begin in October 2024.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the survey.
