Jigsaw Homes Midlands was once again proud to support the Pride of Gedling Awards, celebrating unsung heroes across the borough.
Jigsaw sponsored the ‘Outstanding Community Project Award’ as part of the awards which recognise the efforts and special achievements of individuals, groups and organisations that have made a lasting impact on the community.
JNeighbourhood Engagement Officer Martin Curtis attended the ceremony at Gedling Civic Centre at Arnot Hill Park to present the winners with a trophy and certificate.
The winners were Mapperley and Arnold Rotary Club for their impactful work in supporting a wide range of community well-being initiatives.
The awards attracted more than 120 entries in categories including Business in the Community, Community Hero, Young Person of the Year, Environmental Hero and Inspiration Healthy Living Award.
Other nominations for the community project were:

· The Ark Advice Centre
· The CORE Centre
The Mapperley and Arnold Rotary Club was also named as the overall Pride of Gedling Award winner and will have their name added to the Pride of Gedling Wall in the council chamber, serving as a lasting tribute to their positive influence on the community.

The evening was a fantastic celebration of the remarkable people who make our community a better place.
