The New Year is a great time to take control of your finances, and we’re excited to share an amazing opportunity to help you reduce your water bill by up to £199* a year.
Jigsaw Homes has been working closely with United Utilities on a scheme called ‘Help to Pay’, which can help you save money on your water bill if:
· You are in receipt of Pension Credit (either Pension Guarantee Credit or Pension Savings Credit).
· You are finding it difficult to keep up with your current water bill payments.
To find out if you qualify and how much you could save compared to your current bill, simply:
· Call United Utilities on 0800 072 6765, or
· Visit unitedutilities.com/help-to-pay.
When you apply, you’ll need to provide details of your household income, expenditure, and your National Insurance number to check your eligibility.
If you are successful, United Utilities will send you a revised bill with your reduced annual charge.
The ‘Help to Pay scheme’ applies from the date of acceptance – so the sooner you apply, the sooner you will start saving.
It’s an easy way to help you ease the pressure on your bills so make sure you take advantage of this incredible opportunity.
