Jigsaw and local residents came together for a community clean up day in Hulme last week to combat fly tipping around the local area.
Our Neighbourhood Engagement, Lettings, Caretaking and Hit Squad teams worked with waste management company Biffa and local residents to help tidy up Greenheys of excessive rubbish.
Tanuja Patel, our Neighbourhood Engagement Officer, said: “Everyone worked together to achieve the same goal and improve our neighbourhoods. It also gave residents an opportunity to discuss issues in the area and put names to the face of colleagues.”
One resident said: “It was a really good day with everyone working together to clean up the estate; it looks so much better. I’m really pleased with what Jigsaw has done. While I have lived in a Jigsaw property they have been a really good landlord.”
