The team at Bamber Court, our Jigsaw Support accommodation in Wigan, has recently launched a Breakfast Club for young mothers and children.
It will allow residents to enjoy a range of tasty and nutritious food which has been generously donated by charity Compassion in Action. It also provides a safe space for mothers to meet each other and children to play with each other all while having a healthy start to the day.
Compassion in Action will continue to provide weekly food deliveries so the breakfast club can carry on providing support to those struggling with the rising cost of living.
Colleagues and residents will also be taking part in a three-mile ‘Little Stars Walk’ for The Lullaby Trust – a charity that raises awareness of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), provides expert advice on safer sleep for babies and offers emotional support for bereaved families.
