Angela Rayner visited Ruffley House women’s refuge in Tameside last week and met with colleagues to find out more about the Bridges Partnership.
Angela was joined by Lawrence Milner, Assistant Director of Jigsaw Support, Emma Fagg, Team Leader – Domestic Abuse Support Services, Cllr Jackie Lane and Hazel Clarke, Head of Jigsaw Support, (pictured) to hear about the Bridges Partnership contract and what the service provides.
Colleagues also highlighted the challenges faced by women fleeing domestic abuse and the high level of demand for the service.
Lawrence Milner said: “This was a great opportunity to meet Angela Rayner and highlight the significant impact that our Bridges partnership has created within the local community.
“Angela commented on what a great job all of our colleagues within Ruffley House and the wider Bridges Partnership do and I’m proud Jigsaw Support can provide this much needed service to residents in Tameside.”
