Representatives from Homes England and the Department for Levelling Up joined the Development team to visit the site of Jigsaw’s latest development, Vernon Street in Tameside.
The development, which is currently under construction, aims to be completed in March 2023 and will consist of 23 one-bedroom flats and a staff office.
The Homes England backed scheme is on the site of a former Conservative Social Club and is being constructed with the help of Watson Homes Contractors and TADW Architects.
Gill Lawson, Senior Growth Manager at Homes England, said: “It was great to be out on site and spend time with an inspiring set of people who are determined to deliver good quality housing solutions for vulnerable people. I look forward to seeing the properties come into use.”
