Jigsaw Homes Group actively encourages the all employees to develop and learn using their performance review and discussions with their manager as an assessment tool to further development. We offer our employees the opportunity to develop themselves through various different platforms which include job shadowing, e-learning, attending training sessions and studying for qualifications.
All new employees have an induction which includes information about the organisation. This will also include eLearning modules, a departmental buddy and a group session to help understand the Group’s mission, values and expected behaviours.
Additional training is approved by Line Managers and the following forms of training will be considered:-
- Attendance on short courses and seminars
- Apprentice Levy Funded Training
- In-house training
- External qualifications – linked to externally set standards, we are keen to ensure that employees are able to obtain recognised qualifications.
All employees have an annual Performance Review. This is where objectives and targets are set for the forthcoming year and performance is reviewed at the end of the year. The PR also offer employees the opportunity to highlight any learning and development needs and any training can be requested.
