Plans have been approved to build 37 new, energy efficient homes in Longsight for social rent and Rent to Buy.
The scheme on Levenshulme Road will be developed for Jigsaw Homes by Watson Homes and includes six, two-bedroom houses, as well as 20 one-bed and 11 two-bed apartments.
There will be 29 new off-road parking spaces and landscaped green spaces, and the homes will have solar panels and Air Source Heat Pump cylinders.
Garnet Fazackerley, Operations Director of Development said: “We are looking forward to working on this development to provide more affordable homes close to the city centre and offer choices to households in housing need. We are in discussions with Homes England over grant funding to support these plans.”
