Jigsaw’s Neighbourhood Engagement Team attended the Tameside Jobs Fair at Dukinfield Town Hall which was attended by more than 800 people.
Jigsaw Homes sponsored the event, which was organised by Tameside Council, and our team spoke with around 90 people and promoted vacancies on our new Careers Hub.
They also highlighted our Jigsaw Employment and Training (JET) support and the free training available for residents, including local work clubs and our training menu.
Officer John McGlynn said: “It was a very well attended event which featured a variety of employers and bespoke support services to help people seeking employment or looking to change job and improve their prospects. Our team were kept very busy throughout the morning showcasing our recruitment process and explaining our menu of employability support services.”
