Residents at Reubens Court, a Jigsaw Homes supported housing scheme in Leigh, enjoyed several fun-filled social activities thanks to funding from the Jigsaw Foundation.
The scheme received £2,218 in funding to help organise a trip to Blackpool for residents, alongside mindfulness events, a pool table for the scheme and new garden furniture.
The funding provided an essential way for residents to come together and get involved in various social and wellbeing activities to help improve their confidence. Diane, a resident at Reubens Court, said: “The trip was great, and the events have helped to build my confidence. I am now participating in talks for the Kings Trust where I am a peer mentor.”
