You Said, We Did: Service Charge Policy Review

As part of the annual review of the Jigsaw Service Charge Policy, 154 Jigsaw Rewards members took part in this consultation last year and just under half of the survey participants said they personally pay a service charge.

When asked how happy they are with the quality of leasehold and service charge related services, 64% of those who paid a charge said they were either happy or very happy. The reasons given by those who were unhappy and very unhappy included dissatisfaction with the quality of the service, feeling that charges were poor value for money and not understanding why they pay the charge.

 

You said: There should be more information on service charges.

You said: Seven people raised specific issues regarding the grounds maintenance service.

We did: These were passed to the Grounds Maintenance Team to investigate and address issues where services could be improved.

 

You said: The service charges should offer value for money on the services provided.

We did: We are reviewing all our service charges over the next few years as part of this value for money will be reviewed for each service provided.
